Job summary

Celebrity Cruises is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join its galley team aboard one of its luxury ships. You will prepare all basic food items for the menu, read and execute company recipes, and work in any kitchen section while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and PH compliance.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years in upscale hospitality or cruise ship banquets, with 2+ years as a Line Cook and a culinary school degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service.
• At least 2 years as Line Cook; shipboard experience preferred.
• Culinary school degree required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all basic food items for the menu requested by supervisor.
• Must possess advanced knife handling skills.
• Must be able to work in any section of a kitchen.
• Understand culinary terms and menu items.
• Read, understand, follow, and prepare company recipes.
• Be efficient, productive, and complete tasks.
• Maintain PH and company standards for inspections.
• Prepare area for USPH-type inspections.
• Report to duty on time and maintain appearance and hygiene.
