Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy is assisting a leading UAE healthcare facility in Dubai to recruit an experienced Hand Surgeon with UK CCT. You will diagnose, treat, and perform hand and upper limb procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to audits and teaching.

Qualifications

MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
UK CCT in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery, with hand surgery fellowship/training.
Relevant post-CCT experience in Hand & Upper Limb Surgery.
FRCS or equivalent specialist qualification preferred.
Current GMC/specialist registration or equivalent professional registration.
Eligible for UAE Consultant/Specialist classification, subject to PQR and final authority assessment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage complex hand, wrist, and upper-limb conditions.
Perform elective and emergency hand and wrist procedures.
Manage hand trauma, tendon and nerve injuries, fractures, and soft-tissue conditions.
Perform reconstructive and microsurgical procedures.
Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
Collaborate with orthopedic, plastic surgery, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in clinical audits, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.
