Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy is recruiting a highly experienced Hand Surgeon for a leading UAE healthcare facility. The role requires UK CCT in Hand Surgery or Plastic Surgery with a Hand Surgery fellowship, plus post-CCT experience in Hand & Upper Limb Surgery.

You will diagnose and treat complex hand and upper limb conditions, perform elective and emergency procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent clinical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• UK CCT in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery, with Hand Surgery fellowship/training.
• Post-CCT experience in Hand & Upper Limb Surgery.
• FRCS or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Current GMC/specialist registration or equivalent.
• Eligible for UAE Consultant/Specialist classification, subject to PQR and final authority assessment.
• Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex hand, wrist, and upper-limb conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency hand and wrist procedures.
• Manage hand trauma, tendon and nerve injuries, fractures, and soft-tissue conditions.
• Perform reconstructive and microsurgical procedures.
• Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
• Work with orthopedic, plastic surgery, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in clinical audits, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.
