Job summary

Virtusa in Dubai seeks a Mid-Level UI/UX Product Designer to shape the banking mobile app experience. You will balance UX rigor with UI craft, work within an established design system, and translate complex financial data into clear, trustworthy interfaces.

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and compliance teams, conduct user research, ensure accessibility and security standards, and contribute to agile ceremonies from planning to release.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or UI Design.
• Native mobile app design experience for iOS/Android is required.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX process and UI visual craft.
• Experience contributing to and working within a complex, mature design system.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI for native iOS and Android banking app features.
• Balance UX rigor with UI craft and micro-interactions.
• Extend the existing design system with new components and patterns.
• Design clear interfaces for data-dense screens such as transactions and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Compliance/Legal to translate business and regulatory requirements into usable experiences.

Job Requirements

Role - UI/UX Product Designer

We are seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer to help shape the experience of our banking mobile app. The ideal candidate combines strong UX and UI craft with the discipline to work within an established design system, and is comfortable translating complex financial data into clear, trustworthy, and easy-to-use interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI for native iOS and Android banking app features.
• Balance UX rigor (research, user flows, usability) with UI craft (visual design, interaction and micro-states).
• Contribute to and extend the existing design system, proposing new components and patterns where gaps exist.
• Design clear, scannable interfaces for complex, data-dense screens such as transaction histories, statements, and multi-account dashboards.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Compliance/Legal to

Translate Business And Regulatory Requirements Into Usable Experiences.

• Conduct or contribute to user research and usability testing, and iterate designs based on findings.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and banking-specific security and compliance considerations.
• Prepare clear developer handoff specs and support implementation through to release.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews.

Skills

• 10-12 + years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or UI Design, with
• Dedicated Native Mobile App (iOS/Android) Design Experience — Required.
• Proficient in Figma, including auto layout, components, and prototyping.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX process and UI visual craft.
• Experience contributing to and working within a complex, mature design system — not just consuming a component library.
