Job summary

Guildhall is hiring a Finance Officer for its UAE branch to own day-to-day bookkeeping and UAE VAT compliance within a busy project portfolio.

The role covers journal entries, reconciliations, VAT filing (FTA submissions), and audit support, with a clear path to immediate contribution and unsupervised work from day one.

This Dubai-based position offers a fixed all-inclusive monthly package and a hands-on finance seat inside a regional contracting business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Hands-on UAE VAT filing experience, including FTA submissions.
• Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting.
• Accounting experience in the UAE, ideally in contracting business.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily local accounting journal entries, reconciliations, project cost checks.
• Run the UAE VAT filing cycle including FTA online submission.
• Manage Import VAT and Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) treatment.
• Prepare and organise documents for FTA and external audits.
• Support monthly close, bank reconciliations, fixed-asset depreciation reporting.
• Help improve financial processes and internal controls for tax compliance.
