Job summary

M I R A L.L.C in the UAE is seeking a Structural Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on UAE experience to support our construction team. The role focuses on structural design, site execution, drawings, inspections and coordination with consultants and contractors.

The candidate will review drawings, monitor site works for compliance, coordinate with consultants and contractors, conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to UAE standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Structural Engineering experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and/or structural steel construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of structural analysis/design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret structural drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Monitor structural works at site to ensure compliance with drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and site teams regarding structural works.
• Conduct site inspections and identify structural issues or discrepancies.
• Review structural calculations, shop drawings and method statements where required.
• Coordinate structural design with architectural, MEP and other disciplines.
