Job summary

Staffora HR Consultancy is seeking a General Manager – Sales to lead and expand the client’s sales function in the UAE. You will set the sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and lead the sales team across trading lines.

The role requires 10–12 years of sales experience with 3–5 years in senior leadership, plus mandatory UAE market expertise and a solid P&L understanding. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).
• 10–12 years of progressive sales experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• UAE market expertise and strong network within UAE trading/distribution or related B2B markets.
• Solid understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and sales forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team across multiple business lines.
• Identify new markets, opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
• Set sales targets, budgets, and KPIs; monitor performance against goals.
• Analyze market trends to inform pricing and strategy.
• Collaborate on business planning, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Oversee contract negotiations and major deal approvals.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
• Report to Managing Director/CEO on performance and growth opportunities.
