Job summary

Novo Nordisk in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Pharmacovigilance Specialist based in Dubai to ensure safety information about our products is collected, assessed and reported in line with local and global regulatory requirements. You will safeguard patients by upholding high standards of data integrity and compliance.

In this role you will act as the QPPV for Novo products in UAE, maintain the PV system, report ADRs, and train staff and external vendors on PV processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (essential).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Knowledge of local/global pharmacovigilance regulations.
• Sound understanding of PV agreements lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the QPPV for Novo products in UAE.
• Maintenance of the PV system within the affiliate per SOPs and local regulations.
• Reporting of ADRs to Global Safety & UAE EDE within set timelines.
• Provision of PV onboarding training to external vendors and PSPs/MRPs.
• Managing Safety Data exchange Agreements with partners.
• Timely submission of PSURs and RMPs to local authority.
• Daily check and review of the local PV Safety Mailbox.
• Local requirements processes executed timely and effectively.
