Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Dubai seeks a Pharmacovigilance Specialist to ensure safety information is collected, assessed and reported in compliance with local and global regulations. You’ll safeguard patients across a growing product portfolio, acting as QPPV for UAE and training external partners.

The role emphasizes PV lifecycle management, timely PSUR/RMP submissions, and cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs and Regulatory teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (essential).
• Minimum 3 years of Pharmacovigilance experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Knowledge of local/global pharmacovigilance regulations.
• Sound understanding of PV Agreement lifecycles.
• High level of computer literacy, including MS Office.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as the QPPV for Novo products in UAE.
• Maintenance of the PV system within the affiliate in line with SOPs and local regulations.
• Reporting of ADRs to Global Safety & UAE EDE within timelines.
• Handling technical complaints.
• PV onboarding training to external vendors.
• Managing Safety Data Exchange Agreements with partners.
• Timely submission of PSURs and RMPs to local authority.
• Daily check of the local PV Safety Mailbox.
• Local requirements process executed timely and effectively.
