Job summary

Six Construct, a leading contractor in the Middle East, seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering and cost control. You will review drawings, prepare BoQ, and coordinate with engineers to ensure accurate quantities and aligned contract documentation.

You will work in a structured bid environment, handling take-offs from 3D models and drawings, and contribute to post-tender clarifications and project cost management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• MRICS accreditation is advantageous but not required.
• 0–5 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost control.
• Experience with infrastructure or marine projects in the Middle East is a plus.
• Familiarity with international contract frameworks (FIDIC) is beneficial.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel; knowledge of cost estimation software (CANDY) is a plus.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Fluent English communication in written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents for understanding and compliance.
• Prepare BoQ and quantity take-offs from drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with draftspersons to produce marked-up drawings for take-offs.
• Provide quantity data to materials and submission engineers during tender.
• Support estimators through post-tender queries and award negotiations.
• Assist in WBS, BoQ, and cost estimates; maintain organized documentation.
