Job summary

Agile Consultants in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor – Tender/Pre-Contract to lead commercial activities for building and infrastructure projects. You will manage quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, tender documentation, cost estimation, RFIs, and negotiations during tender stages.

The role demands 8–15 years of UAE/GCC construction experience, hands-on tendering, and exposure to high-rise buildings and major infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in quantity surveying and pre-contract commercial activities.
• Hands-on tendering and pre-contract quantity surveying experience mandatory.
• Experience with high-rise buildings and CMW/PGC/NGC projects.
• UAE/GCC construction industry experience mandatory.
• Proficiency in quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation.
• Experience preparing tender documents, RFQs, cost estimates, and unit rate build-ups.
• Knowledge of subcontractor and supplier quotation evaluation and commercial negotiations.
• Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for building and infrastructure projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Prepare tender documentation and RFIs to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Conduct site visits during the tendering stage to assess project conditions.
• Prepare subcontractor and supplier enquiry packages for tender submissions.
• Prepare RFQs, cost estimates, and detailed unit rate build-ups.
• Evaluate and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations for competitive pricing.
• Study quotations and tender documents and prepare comparison sheets per project documents.
