Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a Quantity Surveyor focused on tendering and cost estimation. You will review drawings, specs and BOQs, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare detailed cost breakdowns for tender submissions.

Ideal candidate has a QS degree, UAE construction experience, strong Excel and AutoCAD skills, and experience with tender process and cost control; you will coordinate with procurement, planning and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience in quantity surveying, tendering, estimation and commercial activities in building construction.
• Proven ability to prepare BOQs, cost estimates, rate analyses and tender submissions.
• Experience evaluating supplier/subcontractor quotations and preparing commercial comparisons.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specs, methodologies and contract conditions.
• Experience producing monthly interim payment applications and assessing claims.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specs and BOQs to understand project requirements.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for building projects.
• Prepare tender pricing schedules, cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with procurement, planning, technical and commercial teams on tender inputs.
• Support commercial evaluation, risk identification and value engineering opportunities.
