Boehringer Ingelheim is hiring a Local Patient Safety Lead based in Dubai, UAE. You will lead the Near East & UAE PSPV team, define the local strategy, and ensure PV systems comply with regulatory requirements while safeguarding patient safety.

You will act as Local QPPV, liaise with Health Authorities, and drive continuous improvements in pharmacovigilance. This is a senior, regulatory-focused role requiring UAE license eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; Doctor of Medicine/Dentistry.
• 3 to 5 years of Pharmacovigilance experience.
• Experience in Gulf and Levant countries is a plus.
• Holder of a UAE Professional Practice License or eligible.
• Knowledge of Boehringer Ingelheim’s therapeutic areas is a plus.
• Strong PV regulatory knowledge and patient safety experience.
• Experience with health authority interactions, inspections, CAPA management.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Near East & UAE PSPV team and define the local PSPV strategy.
• Establish and maintain a local PV system compliant with regulations.
• Ensure compliance with local PV legislation to obtain and maintain marketing authorization.
• Act as local PV contact/Local QPPV for the Health Authority.
• Initiate and support patient-oriented improvements to advance safety.
