Job summary

PAX is seeking an experienced, commercially minded Legal Counsel to support its growing UAE operations. This in‑house role covers commercial contracting, distribution and agency arrangements, employment compliance, corporate governance, IP, regulatory matters and dispute resolution.

You will work with Sales, Finance, HR, Compliance and senior management to provide practical legal advice and manage risks. The ideal candidate will have UAE legal experience, strong English drafting and negotiation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent required.
Minimum 5 years’ legal experience, UAE experience preferred.
In‑house UAE or Middle East experience preferred.
Strong drafting, negotiation and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of English commercial agreements (distribution, agency, reseller, supply, procurement, marketing, service, consultancy, NDA and partnership).
Advise on UAE Commercial Agencies Law, distribution structures, exclusivity, distributor protection, termination rights and contractual risk.
Support HR in UAE Labour Law compliance and employment contracts.
Coordinate corporate governance, licenses and regulatory filings.
Provide day-to-day legal advice on business operations and marketing.
Manage IP portfolio including trademarks and brand protection.
Oversee dispute resolution, arbitration or litigation logistics.
