Job summary

The Boring Company in Dubai seeks an HR leader to oversee UAE HR matters, including benefits, compensation, training, payroll, employee relations, and UAE Labor Law compliance.

You will manage performance, investigations, terminations, onboarding, HR systems, and bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly staff, partnering with local managers and HR operations across the UAE. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in an HR leadership role in UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for all HR matters including benefits, compensation, training, payroll, and employee relations.
• Manage performance, investigations, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Maintain productive relationships with UAE managers; regular reviews on morale and performance.
• Handle escalated risk/urgent matters with thoughtful resolution.
• Oversee HR systems integration, configuration, and administration.
• Outline team priorities and manage performance toward goals.
• Lead UAE-wide HR initiatives and projects.
• Coordinate onboarding, offers, background checks, and legal compliance.
