Job summary

Retaj Medical Center in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our clinic's insurance and revenue-cycle team. You will review dental documentation and code procedures, submit and track claims, and coordinate with our dental staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of dental coding experience in a Abu Dhabi clinic, with strong knowledge of dental procedures, UAE insurance workflows, and excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' dental coding experience in a dental clinic within Abu Dhabi.
• Experience submitting claims for all dental departments.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, coding, tooth numbering, and UAE insurance workflows.
• Familiarity with DoH Abu Dhabi requirements is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review dental documentation and apply accurate procedure, diagnosis, and tooth-number codes.
• Submit, track, correct, and follow up on dental insurance claims.
• Manage claims across all dental departments, including general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and implants.
• Verify eligibility, benefits, approvals, and exclusions.
• Resolve rejected and denied claims while maintaining complete documentation and audit trails.
• Coordinate with dentists, reception, billing, and insurance teams.
