Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner, seeks an Income Reconciliation Accountant in the United Arab Emirates. You will own income reconciliation and ensure data integrity across accounting and fundraising systems, handling high-volume transactions from digital payment platforms.

Qualifications

• Accounting knowledge and IFRS understanding; desirable IFRS background.
• Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions is advantageous.
• Strong Excel/Sheets proficiency for complex reconciliations and reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting platforms like Sun Accounting or NetSuite.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) is a plus.
• Commitment to process improvement and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Inzo income platforms and reconcile donations, grants, and payments across platforms (Stripe, PayPal, Global Payments, BBMS).
• Record revenue transactions, fees, and journal entries; keep CRM aligned with accounting data.
• Prepare donor statements and assist donor communications and audits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax rules, and internal policies; strengthen controls.
• Provide documentation for audits and support period-end closing activities.
• Develop reconciliation reports and dashboards; improve data structures.
• Collaborate with fundraising and finance to resolve discrepancies across systems.
• Identify automation opportunities and document processes to reduce manual errors.
