Job summary

Sisco is seeking an Accountant to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role requires UAE VAT experience, strong accounting skills, and the ability to manage AP/AR and reconciliations. You will prepare financial reports, maintain ledgers, and support audits in line with UAE tax requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of UAE accounting experience, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Immediate joining is preferred, and experience with ERP/accounting software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with UAE VAT, taxation, and audit requirements.
• Experience with AP/AR and reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and maintain records.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
• 2–5 years UAE accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Perform bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and schedules.
• Maintain accounting records in accordance with UAE VAT and tax requirements.
• Support audit activities by preparing required financial records and documentation.
• Monitor general ledger entries and ensure accurate account classifications.
• Use Microsoft Excel and accounting systems for reporting, reconciliation, and financial analysis.
