POWERTECH in Abu Dhabi seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to support design, analysis, and development of gas turbine and turbofan engines. You will create 3D CAD models, perform basic FEA, and contribute to rotor and bearing integration under senior engineers' guidance.

The role emphasizes detailed mechanical design, GD&T, and collaboration with manufacturing to implement DFM principles and testing for engine builds and rigs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• 4–7 years of mechanical design experience, turbomachinery preferred.
• Experience in product development environments and cross-functional work.

Responsabilités

• Mechanical design of turbomachinery components and assemblies.
• Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings; apply GD&T and tolerances.
• Support stress, fatigue, and thermal analysis activities.
• Assist rotor assembly design and bearing integration.
• Support testing, instrumentation, and rig validation.
• Prepare engineering documentation and design changes.
