Job summary

EDGE is seeking a System Architect and Integration to define and maintain the global system architecture for turbofan propulsion and ensure coherence across subsystems. The role requires MBSE leadership, management of system-level requirements, and close collaboration with Product Management, Certification, and Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of turbofan propulsion or complex engineered systems experience.
• Strong knowledge of turbofan architectures, test plans, and engine performance.
• Expertise in system engineering and MBSE (SysML, V-Cycle).
• Knowledge of certification schemes (CS-E) and safety principles (FHA, PSSA).
• Experience working with customers, OEMs, authorities in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain functional architecture and system breakdown to ensure performance.
• Define MBSE methodologies and toolset for the Turbofan team.
• Allocate and manage system-level requirements.
• Lead trade-offs between performance, cost, weight, and durability.
• Manage interface control documents (ICDs, FICDs).
• Ensure architectural consistency across development phases and interfaces with Product Management, Certification, and Integration teams.
