You will define global system architecture for turbofan propulsion, ensuring coherence across subsystems and coordinating MBSE activities with multiple engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in turbofan propulsion, aerospace or complex engineered systems
• Strong understanding of turbofan architectures and test plans
• Knowledge of system engineering, MBSE (SysML, V-Cycle) and standards
• Familiarity with CS-E certification and FHA/PSSA safety principles
• Experience interacting with customers, OEMs and authorities

Responsibilities

• Define and support the functional architecture and system breakdown for engine propulsion subsystems
• Define MBSE methodologies and tool suite for the Turbofan team
• Allocate and manage system-level requirements
• Lead trade-offs between performance, cost, weight and durability
• Manage and maintain interface control documents (ICDs/FICDs)
• Ensure architectural coherence across development phases and with Product Management, Certification, Safety, and Integration & Test teams
