Job summary

FAM Energy Service seeks a turbine assembly supervisor to oversee on-site installation activities in the United Arab Emirates. The role requires ensuring adherence to OEM manuals, tolerances, and correct alignment of critical components, with responsibility for troubleshooting and addressing technical anomalies during start-up.

You will coordinate with customers in the field and provide guidance on operating procedures, while supporting rapid issue resolution and decision-making to keep projects

Responsibilities

• Supervise turbine assembly activities on site.
• Verify installation per OEM manuals and alignment tolerances.
• Oversee correct positioning of rotors, bearings, and casings.
• Provide technical interface with the customer in the field.
• Explain operating and maintenance procedures to site teams.
• Support in managing technical critical issues or anomalies.
• Troubleshoot problems during assembly or start-up.
• Identify root causes such as misalignments or lubrication problems.
• Offer immediate operational recommendations to prevent delays.

Assembly assembly supervision Verify that the turbine gas or steam installation is performed according to the OEM manuals Check alignments tolerances critical tightenings Supervision of the correct positioning of rotors bearings casing etc Technical interface with the customer OEM reference point in the field Explanation of operating and maintenance procedures Support in managing technical critical issues or anomalies Troubleshooting Analysis of problems during assembly or start-up Identification of causes e.g misalignments anomalous vibrations lubrication problems Immediate operational recommendations Duration: 6/8 months renewable with possibilies to relocations in others locations
