Job summary

Peergrowth Consultancy Co. in the UAE seeks an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee trucking operations, optimize fleet utilization, and coordinate drivers across UAE routes.

You will plan routes, manage dispatch, monitor KPIs, and ensure timely deliveries to clients and ports while complying with UAE regulations and safety standards.

Candidates need 5–8 years in UAE trucking/transport operations and a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration is required.
• 5–8 years of trucking/transport operations experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE transport routes and industrial zones.
• Experience managing drivers and dispatch teams.
• Experience handling multi-vehicle fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day trucking operations across UAE routes.
• Coordinate dispatch schedules for drivers and vehicles.
• Monitor fleet utilization and optimize vehicle allocation.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery across client locations, warehouses, and ports.
• Supervise drivers' attendance, trip planning, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations and safety policies.
• Coordinate driver rotations, leave planning, and performance monitoring.
• Plan delivery routes to improve turnaround time and reduce fuel costs.
• Monitor trip performance and reduce idle time.
• Improve vehicle utilization rates and delivery efficiency.
• Act as the operational point of contact for transport clients.
• Ensure SLAs are met and resolve delivery delays quickly.
• Oversee cargo movement from ports such as Jebel Ali and KIZAD if applicable.
• Ensure proper handling of delivery notes, gate passes, trip sheets, and transport documentation.
• Coordinate with customs clearing agents when required.
• Coordinate with workshop teams for repairs.
