Job summary

Caliberly in the UAE seeks an experienced Logistics Manager for Road Tanker Operations to oversee planning, coordination and execution of liquid bulk logistics. You will manage day-to-day tanker transportation, route optimization, and fleet maintenance, ensuring safe, timely deliveries and regulatory compliance.

The role requires deep expertise in tanker fleet operations, HSE compliance, and cost control, with a focus on chemical and petrochemical logistics within a UAE-based operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 812 years of experience in logistics and transportation operations.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing road tanker operations.
• Experience in chemical, petrochemical, petroleum, fuel, liquid bulk or hazardous goods transportation is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE transportation regulations and dangerous goods handling requirements.
• Experience managing a fleet of tankers and transport personnel.
• Strong knowledge of fleet tracking, route optimization, transportation planning and logistics cost management.
• Experience with ERP, TMS, GPS tracking and fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day road tanker transportation and delivery operations.
• Plan and allocate tankers based on customer requirements, cargo availability and delivery schedules.
• Ensure efficient utilization of the tanker fleet and minimize vehicle idle time.
• Monitor loading, transportation, unloading and delivery activities from origin to destination.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and within agreed timelines.
• Develop efficient transportation schedules and optimize delivery routes.
• Coordinate with terminals, warehouses, customers, drivers and operations teams.
• Monitor tanker movements and proactively resolve delays, route issues and operational disruptions.
• Plan fleet requirements based on shipment volumes, customer demand and operational capacity.
• Utilize GPS and fleet tracking systems to monitor vehicle movement and performance.
