Job summary

Tumodo.io in the UAE is seeking a Senior Travel Consultant to elevate corporate travel experiences. You will lead a Travel team, manage client relationships, plan and book domestic and international trips, and respond to travel disruptions with 24/7 support.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business, at least 2 years in corporate travel, Sabre GDS proficiency, and fluent English. You will stay ahead of industry trends, negotiate with vendors, and help shape best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a corporate travel consultant or similar role.
• Proficiency with Sabre GDS for booking and management.
• Strong knowledge of major Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) and their booking platforms.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail in travel planning and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and act as main point of contact.
• Research, plan, and book domestic and international travel using the Tumodo platform and other tools.
• Coordinate ticket issuance, itinerary changes, cancellations, and rebookings; provide 24/7 client support.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to best practices within the team.

Critical Tasks

Client Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients.
• Understand clients' travel preferences, policies, and requirements to provide personalized service.
• Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and issue resolution.

Travel Planning and Booking

• Use the Tumodo Platform along with other available tools to research, plan, and book domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, trains, and other travel services.
• Suggest alternate routes, lowest available fares, booking classes, exchange rates, and travel products/services.
• Handle complex multiple-leg international itineraries, preparing detailed trip plans using preferred vendors.
• Ensure compliance with clients' travel policies and negotiate rates with vendors to secure the best deals.

Travel Coordination and Support

• Manage all aspects of travel coordination, including ticket issuance, itinerary changes, cancellations, and rebooking.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel providers to resolve travel disruptions promptly.
• Provide 24/7 support for clients during travel emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on industry trends, travel regulations, and new technologies to enhance service offerings.
• Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to improve skills and performance.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.

Requirements for Success

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a corporate travel consultant or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Sabre GDS for travel booking and management.
• Strong knowledge of major Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) and their booking platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (mandatory).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in travel planning and documentation.
