Job summary

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital in the Northern Emirates is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU (Trauma Care). You will provide specialized critical care to trauma patients, monitor complex conditions, and deliver evidence-based treatment in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, valid DOH RN license or eligibility, 2–3 years ICU experience in a tertiary hospital, trauma/ICU exposure, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and DOH RN license or eligibility.
• 2–3 years ICU experience in a tertiary hospital setting.
• Experience in a dedicated Trauma ICU or Level I/II Trauma Center.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill trauma patients in the ICU.
• Continuously monitor complex clinical conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Participate in trauma resuscitations, emergency interventions, and rapid responses.
• Administer medications, blood products, and life-support therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement trauma care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR system.
• Educate families with clear communication and compassionate guidance.
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and DOH regulations.
