Job summary

Black Pearl Consult seeks a capable ICU Nurse to deliver direct care for critically ill patients in a Dubai hospital environment. You will monitor vital signs, manage life-support equipment, and coordinate with physicians to implement care plans.

The role requires a BSN (or equivalent), 2+ years in ICU, and a valid home-country nursing license with DHA eligibility or willingness to obtain the Dubai license. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Valid nursing license from home country.
• Eligibility for nursing license in Dubai (DHA eligibility, license, or willingness to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of critical care procedures, equipment, and patient monitoring.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience in tertiary care or accredited hospitals is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Continuously monitor vital signs, neurological status, and overall condition.
• Operate and monitor ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and life-support systems.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist physicians during procedures and emergency interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, assessments, and progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Ensure infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development.
