Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking a Training Supervisor for Logistics & Supply Chain to build and strengthen workforce capabilities across fulfillment, inventory, and last-mile operations.

The role ensures teams are trained, compliant, and equipped to meet accuracy, efficiency, quality, and customer experience standards, leveraging QA insights and NPS feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Training & Development, or Business.
  • Certifications in Training & Development, Lean, or related disciplines are preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in training and operations within e-commerce, logistics, or warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain training programs for warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, and last-mile delivery teams.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and skills-based refresher sessions on SOPs, safety, and quality protocols.
  • Develop role-specific training modules covering picking, packing, inventory control, shipping, and delivery operations.
  • Incorporate customer satisfaction metrics and NPS insights into training materials to promote customer-centric thinking.
  • Coordinate with QA and Operations leaders to integrate quality and compliance requirements into daily training content.
  • Train staff on error prevention standards based on QA recommendations and NPS/customer feedback analysis.
  • Foster a “Customer First” culture across warehouse and delivery teams to ensure service excellence.
  • Track training effectiveness against key operational KPIs (accuracy, compliance, productivity).
  • Assess knowledge retention and operational performance improvements post-training.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives led by Operations through targeted training interventions.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to training processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Ensure training programs evolve in line with new systems, technology, and operational changes.
  • Conduct training on inventory control processes including stock handling, labeling, and cycle count accuracy.
  • Reinforce best practices for storage, product handling, and FIFO/FEFO compliance.
  • Develop training content aimed at reducing inventory discrepancies, shrinkage, and fulfillment errors.
  • Educate teams on system accuracy, WMS usage, and data entry best practices to enhance operational precision.
  • Train delivery teams on delivery protocols, route planning, POD compliance, and customer interaction standards.
  • Implement soft-skills training programs to enhance customer communication, issue resolution, and professional conduct.
  • Align last-mile training initiatives with on-time delivery and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Manage and guide trainers and team leads within the logistics department.
  • Encourage engagement and active participation during training sessions to foster a culture of learning and accountability.
  • Ensure adherence to HSSE policies and support compliance audits.

Job Purpose


The Logistics Training Supervisor is responsible for building and strengthening workforce capabilities across fulfillment, inventory, and last-mile operations.


This role ensures teams are properly trained, compliant, and equipped to meet accuracy, efficiency, quality, and customer experience standards. By leveraging operational data, QA insights, and NPS feedback, the Supervisor drives continuous improvement through targeted training, performance monitoring, and process reinforcement, serving as a key link between Operations and QA to support overall operational excellence.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities



  • Design, implement, and maintain training programs for warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, and last-mile delivery teams.

Health, Safety & Compliance


Ensure all training modules incorporate HSSE and warehouse safety standards.


Support safety briefings, toolbox talks, and incident-prevention awareness initiatives.


Reinforce safe and organized workspace practices aligned with 5S and lean principles.


Ensure adherence to HSE policies and support compliance audits.


Qualifications

Job Requirements


Education



  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Training & Development, or Business.

  • Certifications in Training & Development, Lean, or related disciplines are preferred.


Experience



  • 3–5 years of experience in training and operations within e-commerce, logistics, or warehouse environments.

  • Proven experience developing and delivering training programs across fulfillment, last-mile, and QA processes.

  • Certification in Training & Development, Lean Six Sigma, or Quality Management is an advantage.


Knowledge & Skills



  • Strong understanding of e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, and last-mile delivery processes.

  • Knowledge of inventory control principles, WMS/ERP systems, and quality assurance standards.

  • Experience in training design, facilitation, and evaluation within logistics or operational settings.

  • Excellent presentation, coaching, and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to link training initiatives to measurable operational outcomes.

  • Customer-centered approach with focus on service excellence and NPS improvement.

  • Collaborative leadership style with strong influencing skills.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented.
