Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a motivated Assistant Trainee – Accounting in Dubai, UAE. The candidate should be partly ACCA qualified with SBR cleared, and possess a solid grasp of IFRS and fundamental accounting concepts.

You will work under senior accountants to gain practical exposure to VAT, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a UAE business environment. The role emphasizes building experience across the full accounting cycle, with opportunities to contribute to monthly management

Qualifications

• ACCA Partially Qualified and SBR cleared.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS.
• Knowledge of financial statements and accounting concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record accounting transactions and maintain purchase, sales, expense and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank, cash, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare VAT reconciliation and assist in monthly management accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end close and financial reporting.
