Job summary

AccouConsult in Dubai, UAE is seeking a motivated Trainee – Accounting to join the Accounting & Finance team. The candidate should be ACCA partially qualified with SBR cleared and have a solid grasp of IFRS and technical accounting concepts.

The role offers hands-on exposure to VAT, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a UAE business environment. You will work closely with senior accountants to gain experience across the full accounting cycle.

Qualifications

• ACCA Partially Qualified with SBR cleared.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and accounting principles.
• Bachelor-level degree in accounting/finance/commerce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record accounting transactions accurately.
• Reconcile bank, cash, AP, AR.
• Prepare VAT reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly management accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closings.
• Apply IFRS and financial reporting basics in practice.
