Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking an Accountant to handle day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy of records, and support month-end reporting in a dynamic UAE environment. You will work with operations, HR, and management to gather data, process AP/AR, and assist with VAT and corporate tax compliance, while updating ERP/Accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, AP/AR, and basic financial reporting.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax processes.
• Proficiency in Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks / ERP systems.
• Good command of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
• Strong communication, accuracy, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting — Maintain general ledger entries, journal postings, and daily accounting records.
• AP & AR Management — Process vendor invoices, customer payments, reconciliations, and ageing reports.
• Bank Reconciliation — Prepare and verify daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations.
• VAT Compliance — Assist in VAT calculations, return preparation, and documentation.
• Corporate Tax Support — Maintain records required for tax filing and coordinate with auditors.
• Financial Reporting — Support monthly closing, MIS preparation, and variance analysis.
• Documentation & Filing — Maintain organized financial records, invoices, statements, and audit files.
• Internal Coordination — Work with operations, HR, and management for financial data and approvals.
• System Updates — Update entries in ERP/Accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks).
