Job summary

ACCA Careers UAE is seeking a motivated Trainee – Tax to join our Tax & Compliance team. The role provides practical exposure to UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and tax reporting, with emphasis on completed ATX and SBR examinations.

The successful candidate will work under senior tax professionals, preparing returns, tax computations, and working papers while developing UAE tax knowledge and professional ACCA progression.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to conduct tax and technical research and stay updated on UAE tax rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing UAE VAT returns and related workings.
• Assist with Corporate Tax compliance, including computations and schedules.
• Support tax reconciliations and tax working papers.
• Identify potential tax risks and compliance issues.
• Conduct research on UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and related regulations.
• Stay updated with FTA requirements and changes in UAE tax legislation.
• Apply ATX and SBR knowledge to practical assignments.
• Respond to routine client queries on VAT and Corporate Tax.
