Job summary

Radley James in Dubai seeks an Application Support Specialist to troubleshoot and optimize trading applications in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and developers to ensure smooth operation of front-to-back platforms and timely issue resolution.

You will onboard new users, monitor production systems, and participate in releases and deployments, leveraging Linux/Unix, SQL, and Python skills to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of application or production support experience.
• Strong Linux/Unix, SQL, and scripting experience (Python preferred).
• Experience supporting complex enterprise applications in a production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Financial services or trading environment experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for trading and business-critical applications across front, middle, and back-office functions.
• Investigate and resolve production issues while maintaining high service levels.
• Partner with traders, operations teams, and developers to improve system performance and supportability.
• Onboard new users and configure applications to support business workflows.
• Monitor production systems and participate in release testing and deployments.
