Job summary

Venture Search is seeking a Senior Specialist in Trading Operations to provide end-to-end support for Naphtha/LPG trading. The role involves managing physical cargo movements, coordinating vessel operations and ensuring regulatory compliance across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in commodities or energy trading and at least 3 years in Trading Operations for Naphtha, LPG, or related products, with strong P&L optimization and stakeholder liaison skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in commodities or energy trading.
• 3+ years in Trading Operations for Naphtha/LPG or related markets.
• Experience managing physical cargo movements and international supply chains.
• Ability to liaise with traders, shipping providers and terminals.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory/compliance controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cargo movements, vessel operations, storage, inventory and blending activities to support trading strategies.
• Protect and optimize trading P&L through effective logistics, asset utilization and cost management.
• Manage product quality, specifications and operational risks throughout the supply chain.
• Act as the key liaison between traders, counterparties, shipping providers, terminals and service vendors.
• Support settlements, claims, demurrage, inventory reconciliation and operational reporting.
• Ensure accurate system updates and compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements and company policies.

Senior Specialist, Trading Operations – (Naphtha/LPG)

We are seeking to hire a Senior Specialist, Trading Operations with experience across Naphtha or LPG. This profile will be responsible for providing end-to-end commercial, logistical and operational support for the Naphtha/LPG trading portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end execution of physical Naphtha and LPG transactions, ensuring contractual compliance and operational excellence.


• Coordinate cargo movements, vessel operations, storage, inventory and blending activities to support trading strategies.

Experience:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience within commodities trading, energy trading or oil & gas trading environments.


• Minimum 3+ years of direct Trading Operations experience supporting Naphtha, LPG, Light Ends or Refined Products trading activities.


• Proven experience managing complex physical cargo movements, storage operations and international supply chains.


• Experience supporting traders and managing operational exposure within a global trading environment.


• Exposure to Middle East, Asia and international Light Ends markets is preferred.
