Job summary

Confidential Careers is recruiting a Systems Administrator for our UAE DMCC office. You will be the on-site technology lead, keeping systems running, users productive and IT issues resolved quickly in a fast-paced trading environment.

You'll provide hands-on support, manage Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, endpoint security, backups and vendor relationships to ensure continuous operation of trading screens, peripherals and communications tools for the Dubai team.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a systems administration, IT support or infrastructure role.
• Experience as primary on-site IT resource for a small to mid-sized office.
• Desirable: exposure to financial services, trading or time‑critical environments.
• Advantage if familiar with trading platforms or market data terminals.
• Certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, in-office IT support for hardware, software and connectivity.
• Ensure office workstations, trading screens and peripherals are ready each trading day.
• Maintain the office network (Wi‑Fi, firewalls, switches, routers) with redundancy.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, including licences and permissions.
• Support connectivity to trading platforms, market data services, and exchanges.
• Onboard/offboard users; manage device setup and access provisioning.
• Maintain IT security controls, patching and MFA across systems.
• Manage data backups and test recovery procedures for business continuity.
• Keep an accurate inventory of IT assets and licences.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and telecoms providers.
• Set up meeting rooms, video-conferencing and telephony equipment.
• Document configurations and issues; log resolutions for future reference.
• Identify recurring issues and propose practical improvements.
• Support remote coordination with Singapore office when required.
