Job summary

Standard Chartered in Dubai seeks an experienced Trade Services professional to manage client queries, ensure end-to-end resolution, and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders. You will navigate ICC rules, local laws, and various trade products while upholding the bank's standards and service levels.

You will be responsible for prioritizing resolution, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting digitization initiatives in a busy banking environment.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of general operational knowledge in Trade Services.
• Under Graduate degree.
• Thorough understanding of ICC rules, local laws, legal risks, and operational risks.
• At least 5 years working experience in Trade products viz. Collections, LC, Guarantees/SBLC, Open account financing, Receivable Purchases (Factoring), Islamic Trade.
• ICC Certifications viz. CDCS, CSDG will be added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive Queries / Complaints / Compliments from Clients through various Channels and Internal Stakeholders.
• Log queries and own end-to-end resolution, escalate as appropriate.
• Communicate updates/resolution to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure queries are resolved within defined timelines.
• Escalate overdue queries and complaints and monitor TD queue for timely processing.
