HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai is seeking an experienced Tower Crane Electrical Technician to maintain and service electrical systems on heavy equipment. You will install, inspect, and troubleshoot crane electrics to ensure safe operation.
The role requires an ITI/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering, 2–5 years of crane electrical maintenance, ability to read electrical drawings and schematics, and a strong commitment to HSE, PTW, and PPE on site.
Install electrical systems and components of tower cranes.
Carry out electrical wiring, cable routing, and control panel connections.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in tower cranes.
Maintain crane motors, limit switches, sensors, lighting systems, and safety devices.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tower crane electrical systems.
Test electrical systems to ensure safe and proper operation.
Assist in tower crane erection, climbing, and dismantling activities related to electrical works.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Ensure all electrical installations comply with manufacturer specifications.
Replace defective electrical components and spare parts.
Maintain maintenance records and inspection reports.
Coordinate with supervisors, operators, and maintenance teams.
Report equipment defects and operational issues immediately.
Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
Wear always required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Ensure electrical work is carried out safely and according to approved procedures
Follow Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements where applicable
Promote a positive safety culture and safe working practices
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in tower crane or heavy equipment electrical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of crane electrical systems, wiring, control panels, motors, sensors, and safety devices.
Skilled in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Experience supporting tower crane erection, climbing, and dismantling activities.
Familiar with HSE standards, PTW requirements, and PPE compliance.
Good communication, teamwork, and reporting skills.
Physically fit to work at heights and on construction sites.
Safety-conscious with a strong commitment to safe work practices.
