Job summary

Adecco Holding Emirates B.V. (Dubai Branch) is seeking a Tower Crane Electrical Technician to install, inspect, and service electrical systems on tower cranes.

You will read schematics, diagnose faults, and coordinate with site teams to ensure safe operation and adherence to manufacturer specs. The role requires 2–5 years in heavy equipment electrical maintenance, strong safety discipline, and the ability to work at height on construction sites in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in tower crane or heavy equipment electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of crane electrical systems, wiring, control panels, motors, sensors and safety devices.
• Skilled in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience supporting tower crane erection, climbing and dismantling activities.
• Familiar with HSE standards, PTW requirements, and PPE compliance.
• Good communication, teamwork and reporting skills.
• Physically fit to work at heights and on construction sites.
• Safety-conscious with a strong commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and components of tower cranes.
• Carry out electrical wiring cable routing and control panel connections.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in tower cranes.
• Maintain crane motors, limit switches, sensors, lighting systems and safety devices.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tower crane electrical systems.
• Test electrical systems to ensure safe and proper operation.
• Assist in tower crane erection, climbing and dismantling activities related to electrical works.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with manufacturer specifications.
• Replace defective electrical components and spare parts.
• Maintain maintenance records and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with supervisors, operators and maintenance teams.
• Report equipment defects and operational issues immediately.
• Follow all company HSE policies and procedures; wear PPE as required.
• Follow Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements where applicable.
