Job summary

Express Insulating Materials Company LLC SPC in Abu Dhabi seeks experienced waterproofing applicators for project sites. You will apply torch-applied bituminous waterproofing membranes on foundations, basements, roofs and wet areas.

You will prepare and prime surfaces, measure and cut membranes, and complete corners, upturns and pipe penetrations while following safety rules. Experience of 1+ year and ability to work on building and industrial sites preferred; additional skills like liquid

Qualifications

• 1+ years hands-on experience in torch-applied membrane waterproofing.
• Able to work on building and industrial project sites.
• Additional skills in liquid coatings, injection or flashing are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply torch-applied bituminous waterproofing membrane on foundations, basements, roofs and wet areas.
• Prepare and prime surfaces before application.
• Measure, cut and align membrane with correct side and end laps.
• Complete corners, upturns and pipe penetrations properly.
• Use the gas torch safely and follow site safety rules.
• Carry out repairs and protection works as instructed by the site supervisor.
