Job summary

Mediclinic Middle East in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced nurse to provide patient-centred care in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Required: Bachelor’s in Nursing, BLS and NRP, 2+ years’ experience in own country; basic Arabic; fluent English; MS Office proficiency. UAE experience is preferred. Position based at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital, Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is essential.
• Valid BLS and NRP certificates required.
• Two years of experience in the applicant's own country is essential, UAE experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centric nursing care in collaboration with the multi-professional team.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying and managing risks per risk policies and legislation.
• Create a positive patient experience by fostering a supportive environment under nursing leadership.
• Mentor and coach learners and nursing staff to build competency.

Main Purpose of Job

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

Key Responsibility Areas

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
• Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees

Required Education

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• valid BLS and NRP certificate

Required Experience

• Essential: At least two years in own country
• Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial

Required Job Skills And Knowledge

• Basic Arabic language skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
