Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding requirements for MIG and TIG welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components based on specifications.
• Weld and repair door assemblies and sub-components using GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes to meet quality standards.
• Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
• Operate and oversee specialized machinery used for industrial welding.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on welding machinery.
• Assess welded surfaces and components to identify errors or defects.
• Follow safety regulations, including wearing protective gear such as heat-resistant gloves, masks, and safety shoes.
• Monitor machinery during operation to ensure proper usage and temperature control.
• Weld components in various positions: flat, vertical, and overhead.
• Initiate Preventive Action Requests when potential failures are identified.
• Assist in cleaning the workshop, tools, and equipment.
• Provide labor services as needed.
• Manage the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized working area.
• Conduct regular checks on machines and tools.
• Reduce wastage and scrap during operations.
• Report any product malfunctions or defects.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations at all times.
