Al Rostamani Group of Companies LLC in the UAE seeks an Electrical Testing Engineer to lead testing of protection panels (LCCs/RTU) across factory and site projects. You will analyze drawings, assess risks, and drive tender support and technical proposals while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5+ years of proven experience in testing of protection panels, LCCs and RTU Panels.
• Expert-level knowledge of electrical design principles and power systems.
• Strong understanding of protection relays and control schemes.

Responsabilidades

• Create system to plan, control and measure the T&C projects (Factory and Site)
• Identify and evaluate risks in T&C, consider all factors that could impact activities, cost and identify the ways to mitigate the risk.
• Evaluate drawings and recommend modification from T&C prospective.
• Support sales and execution team for tender evaluation and technical proposal preparation.
• Develop the T&C execution plan and manage the planning, scheduling and resource allocation for the T&C team to ensure that the work is delivered according to client specification, on time and within allotted budget.
• Liaise with client/contractor/consultant for inspection, sign off and achieve the completion with customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies and procedure.
• Monitor and evaluate the outcome for improvement.
• Support internal testing team to ensure compliance to the customer/ manufacturing guideline.
• Record and report budgeted vs actual spend, manpower cost, Rework cost and mitigation plan.
• Set the targets for team members and evaluates their performance, develop the process to enhance the skill set.

Testing and commissioning of substation equipment’s, Panel testing at factory and site, annual maintenance contracts, remote end modification and associated work in line with client requirement and international standard. Design, Develop and implement the key T&C process, supervise and manage the team, ensure safety at workshop, plan strategies and meet the set targets. Lead, guide and groom the team to achieve the departmental objective and customer satisfaction. Maintain and manage documentation as per the ISO guideline.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 3 to 5+ years of proven experience in testing of protection panels, LCCs and RTU Panels

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert-level knowledge of electrical design principles and power systems.
• In-depth understanding of protection relays (overcurrent, differential, distance, etc.) and control schemes.
• Strong proficiency in handling testing equipments
• Familiarity with IEDs, SCADA, and communication protocols (Modbus, IEC 61850, DNP3) is a strong advantage.

Standards Knowledge: Working knowledge of key industry standards (IEC 61439, IEC 60204, UL 508A, NEC/NFPA 70).
