Job summary

ADASI is seeking a Test Equipment Development Systems Engineer to design, develop, validate, and maintain custom and commercial test equipment for UAV systems. You will work on automated test equipment, HIL setups, and diagnostic tools across avionics, propulsion, and communications domains.

You will lead system integration and automation efforts, ensuring MIL-STD, ARINC, CAN, and Ethernet compatibility, while contributing to calibration, maintenance, and documentation to support reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering (REQUIRED).
• Master's degree in Test Systems Engineering, Automation, or related field (PREFERRED).
• Experience in design and verification for avionics, hardware/software integration, and safety-critical systems.
• Familiarity with aerospace test equipment, ATE, and HIL concepts.
• Experience in requirement management and test planning.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test equipment for avionics, electrical, mechanical, and software subsystems.
• Develop test interfaces, harnesses, and instrumentation for lab and field use.
• Create test automation scripts using Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB to run sequences.
