Job summary

Air Q Limited in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Production Testing Engineer to join the AIT team. You will own integration checkout, functional and final acceptance testing of assembled units, ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards.

The role requires hands‑on experience with electro‑mechanical systems, test equipment, instrumentation, and collaboration with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to drive product readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in integration and testing, test engineering, electro-mechanical systems, or a similar role.
• Experience in aerospace, UAV, aviation, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
• Experience with hands‑on testing, troubleshooting, instrumentation, and test equipment.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process‑improvement certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration checkout of assembled units and systems.
• Develop, document, and execute functional and final acceptance test procedures.
• Design, develop, and build test rigs, fixtures, and test setups for new products and configurations.
• Coordinate with R&D and Engineering teams to establish and validate testing and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain accurate test records, results, and traceability for each tested unit.
