Job summary

Schneider Electric - UAE in Dubai invites a senior tender and contracts leader to own complex service opportunities for ONE Solution Services MEA. You will act as the single point of contact for customers, guiding presales, tendering, and contract management across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver compelling service solutions.

This role requires strong financial and strategic pricing acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project tendering and contract management in a service-related industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in English.
• Understanding of Power system solutions and related tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales activity and develop contract strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and manage tenders for service contracts, including complex modernization and maintenance.
• Coordinate bid preparation, kick-off, costs, and risk assessment.
• Review customer requirements and align offers with pricing policies.
• Oversee tender team activities with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate terms with legal and customer counterparts.
• Prepare financial overviews and risk reviews for approvals.
• Ensure timely, well-documented proposals and compliant execution setup.
• Engage with customers to clarify requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement in tender processes.

Your Mission

Lead the complex and strategics services opportunities for the ONE Solution Services MEA Be the single point of contact to the customer for complex service opportunity in the region

What will you do

• Presale activity: Develops presales contract strategies and works closely with marketing sales business management and One Solution teams Multi-segment and C amp SP team to Pitch solutions to a customer and explain all the features and benefits of a particular product or service
• Tender & Contract Management:
  • Tender Preparation
  • Develop and prepare competitive tenders for service contrats including complex Modernization amp maintenance contracts Digital services solution and site activities in compliance with Customer project process CPP
  • Initiate Bid preparation compiling documentation building the tender plan
  • Tender conduct kick-off
  • Tender costs management
  • SFC refine risk assessment and define variation order and claim management strategy
  • Ownership of Tender Process
• Customer Requirements: Review and analyze customer requirements ensuring they are accurately integrated into offers and solution concepts
• Strategic Pricing: aligned with Service Sales define and support strategic pricing policies ensuring value-based pricing and effective price realization
• Tender Team Management: SMEs SMLs Lead the various tender team members including from Account Manager GAM KAM Sale Contract Dept Legal Dept Corporate Finance amp Treasury Custom amp Tax Solution Architect Technical Leader Execution Team Procurement Global Supply Chain Trade Compliance SRM Cyber security and Management at various Business Unit Coordinate internal communication and follow up to ensure offers are complete on schedule Perform reliable and efficient communication to main stakeholders raise roadblocks when needed
• Contract Management: Coordinate and closely work with contract amp Legal team on managing contracts deliverables deadlines contract terms and conditions Lead the Contract T amp Cs negotiation with Customer while ensuring compliance to solution business policy SBP
• Financial Management: Prepare detailed cost calculations integrating supplier quotations and considering technical and commercial aspects Prepare the Financial overview covering P amp L Risk amp opportunity capture CCOGM as per guidelines threshold Prepare the Cash amp Risk curve Review the Finance part with respective SMEs Finance Credit amp Treasury Risk Management Conduct tender and risk reviews ensuring all potential risks are identified and mitigated
• Tender review amp Approval: Conduct the Tender review for a comprehensive 360 degree analysis and elevate the bid for approval as per Customer project process CPP
• Documentation: Ensure all proposals are well-documented and submitted in a timely manner securing necessary technical and commercial support Prepare the Contractual amp Project Execution setup Prepare the Project schedule with clear define the dependency with customer Ensure the offer compliance with approve mandate incorporated recommendation of SME SML SRM
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to clarify requirements and provide support during the tender process ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Continuous Improvement: Conduct the win loss analyses for complex tender for improvement in bid strategy and implement the best practice in tender processes so as to enhance efficiency and quality

Skills and capabilities

• Education: Bachelor s degree in engineering business or a related field
• Experience: Proven experience 5year in Project Tendering and contract management preferably in a service-related industry
• Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Power system solution Service offer ESP amp EcoCare ETAP Digital Twin ETE substation automation and control amp protection system is a plus
