Job summary

Six Construct in Dubai seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering and pre-contract activities. You will review drawings, specifications, and contracts, prepare quantity take-offs, and assist with BoQ and cost estimates.

The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with Candy, and the ability to work under tender deadlines while coordinating with estimators, engineers, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• MRICS or equivalent accreditation is advantageous but not mandatory.
• 0-5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost control.
• Exposure to infrastructure or marine projects; Middle East tendering preferred.
• Experience reviewing tender documents and preparing BoQs.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and quantity take-offs from drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with draftspersons for marked-up drawings to support take-offs.
• Provide quantity data to materials and submission engineers throughout the tender process.
• Follow up on post-tender queries and support Estimator for award kick-off.
