Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail tenants and coordinate their requirements
• Address tenant complaints, queries and operational challenges with timely follow-up
• Monitor tenant lease compliance, asset policies, HSE, fire and life-safety standards
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure stores are operational and compliant
• Coordinate with operations and technical teams to resolve maintenance and safety issues
• Conduct tenant orientation sessions and regular meetings on procedures and communication
• Prepare tenant correspondence, notices and concession requests
• Maintain accurate tenant records including leases, licences and permits
• Collect sales and footfall data and regulatory documentation
• Coordinate with Finance on billing, payments and disputes
• Support retailer-led marketing initiatives across tenancy areas
• Assist with retailer performance analysis and asset management reporting
• Maintain data entry and analysis using Yardi, POS and footfall tools

About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Tenant Relations Executive to join Dubai Holding Asset Management. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with retail tenants, coordinating their operational and administrative requirements.
• Address tenant complaints, queries and operational challenges, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Monitor tenant compliance with lease requirements, retail asset policies, HSE standards, fire and life-safety requirements, and relevant government regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of tenant premises to ensure stores are operational, well maintained, appropriately presented and compliant with required standards.
• Coordinate with the operations and technical teams to elevate and resolve maintenance and safety concerns.
• Conduct tenant orientation sessions and regular meetings covering operational procedures, emergency requirements and communication processes.
• Prepare tenant correspondence, notices, memorandums, concession requests, early-termination cases and other related documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant records, including leases, trade licences, insurance documents, Ejari certificates, permits and compliance records.
• Collect and track tenant information such as sales records, footfall, performance data and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance regarding billing queries, rental payments, reconciliations and tenant disputes.
• Process tenant variation requests, legal or statutory notices, work permits and non-technical NOCs within the agreed timelines.
• Support retailer-led marketing initiatives, events and sponsored programmes across tenancy and common areas.
• Assist with retailer performance analysis, tenant-mix planning and retail asset management reporting.
• Maintain accurate trackers and conduct data entry and analysis using systems such as Yardi, POS and footfall reporting tools.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Two to four years of experience in retail, real estate management, mall operations, tenant relations, leasing or customer experience.
• Previous Middle East experience would be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage professionally with tenants and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent influencing, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
• The ability to remain composed and solution-focused during difficult conversations.
