Job summary

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine telecom maintenance activities across assigned field and operational areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance on telecommunications equipment in accordance with approved schedules and procedures.
• Respond to telecom equipment breakdowns and restore affected systems as quickly as practicable.
• Diagnose faults in telecom equipment and identify appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform corrective maintenance and component replacement when equipment defects are identified.
• Inspect telecom installations and verify that equipment remains in satisfactory operating condition.
• Support testing of communication systems following maintenance or repair activities.
• Record completed maintenance work and update equipment service history where required.
• Report recurring telecom faults and highlight issues requiring specialist technical support.
• Assist with troubleshooting communication failures affecting field operations.
