Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY is seeking an experienced telecom field operations supervisor to oversee daily field operations and ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of telecom infrastructure in Chennai.

You will lead and mentor technicians, manage project timelines and resources for installation, repair, and upgrades, and enforce safety and quality standards on site to minimize risks and rework. Gulf market experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of field operations experience in mobile or fixed networks.
• Certification in CCNA or Fiber Optic Splicing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of telecom infrastructure across Chennai.
• Lead and mentor a team of technicians, providing technical guidance and performance feedback to foster skill development.
• Manage project timelines and resource allocation for installation, repair, and upgrade tasks, prioritizing critical network segments.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during all on‑site activities, minimizing risks and rework.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in telecommunications field operations, focusing on mobile or fixed‑line networks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., CCNA, Fiber Optic Splicing) is highly desirable.

Eligibility

• Experience in Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore.
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred.
• Municipal or building / road infrastructure experience is not eligible.
• Minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory for managerial and senior roles.

Age Criteria

Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.
