Job summary

Tractebel is seeking a senior transmission/substation engineer to lead technical reviews and project scope definition for Telecom/SCMS/Optical Fiber systems in Abu Dhabi. You will review feasibility and project parameter reports and ensure compliance for 132kV, 220kV and 400kV substations.

You are a strong technical leader with site-based decision-making, capable of coordinating with clients and multiple interfaces.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electronics & Communication, or related qualification.
• Min 10 years of work experience in Energy Sector Transmission/Distribution Automation, SCMS, telecom, Optical Fiber & Security (Cyber Security & Physical Security Systems).
• Review of feasibility report and project parameter report for issuing scope and specification related to Telecom/Optical Fiber/SCMS System.
• Review of bidder's Pre & Post tender clarification and provide our technical recommendation for the query.
• Review of SCMS/Telecom/Cyber Security drawings & documents as per specification and requirements and approving it accordingly.
• Inspection and issuance of SRC & Erection certificate to SCMS, Telecommunication equipment, Fiber Distribution Panels, Fiber optic cables, and accessories.
• Attending regular site visits to ensure the quality as per our standards for all ongoing 132kV, 220kV & 400kV Substations.
• Meeting with clients to discuss needs and objectives
